Best Juicer
At the moment, I have a horizontal masticating juicer (Omega J8006) and a vertical masticating juicer (Omega VRT350HD). Before I bought my juicers I spent weeks researching my purchases at places like Amazon and Youtube. I’ve had the J8006 for a lot longer than the Vert model. If you’ve been looking at these juicers yourself, you’ll know that’s because the vertical models have only come out in the last few years.
As it stands, I’m more than happy with both of these juicers. For the time being, I don’t see myself spending any more money on juicers. In my horizontal and vertical masticating juicer comparison I’ve written about some of the non-juicing uses for each of these machines. The Omega J8006 gets bonus points because it is the most versatile. Then again, I’m able to make juices quicker in my VRT350HD. I like having them both around because I can pick the right juicer for the job at hand.
Most juicing websites tend to rate both of these juicers highly. That’s mainly because they are great machines. I tend to agree with Andy from Juice Fiend that the best juicer is the Omega VRT350HD. Bear in mind though that I’m talking about “juicing”. Even though the motor speed is the same as the J8006, it can make juices more quickly. The reason for this is the size of the auger and feed chute. They’re bigger on the vertical model.
If we were talking about the best all rounder, I might have to give the title of best juicer to the Omega J8006. Making frozen desserts is real nice in the summer!
